At first slide the two guiding rods through a hole on one side of the upper profiles. Then add a rubber
washer and an adjusting ring and slide the rod in further, about half way through.

Next slide on the X-carriage onto the hollow rods, the longer one at the top. Now slide the Y-carriage
with bearing holder from the left and the Y-carriage with motor from the right side onto the hollow
rods. The photo below shows a dual-extruder version. Fixate the hollow rods using the screws but only
tighten the screws on one side at this stage.
