4.0.3 EVERY EIGHT HOURS OF WORK
- Grease the universal joint spiders.
- Grease the row-marker disk pivot (1 fig. 52).
- If iron “V” wheels are fitted, grease the hubs (3 fig. 52).
- Check the fan-belt tension (Fig. 42).
4.0.4 EVERY FIFTY HOURS OF WORK
- Inspect the state of the perforated disks; if some pegs are
missing or bent, replace the disk with an original spare; if there
are circular grooves on the disks they must not be deeper than
1/3 of the disk thickness.
- Clean the inside of the seed distributor with water and petrol
(gasoline); replace the cover seal if necessary.
- Grease the row-marker arm pivot (6 fig. 52)
4.0.5 EVERY SIX MONTHS
- Oil the height adjust bolt (2 fig. 52).
- Grease the drive wheel oscillating bearings (4 fig. 52).
- Grease the bevel gear pair of the Cardan shaft (5 fig. 52).
4.0.6 ETTING ASIDE
At the end of the season , or if a long period of rest is for seen it is
advisable:
- Wash the equipment with a lot of water, especially the tanks of
the chemical substances, and than dry them.
- Carefully check worn or damaged parts and replace if
necessary.
- Adjust the depressor belt and replace if necessary.
- Tighten all screws and bolts.
- Grease the drive chains, oil all the drive chains, spread lubricant
on all the parts not painted.
- Protect the equipment with a (nylon) cover .
- Then put it in a dry place, do not move it and where it is out of
reach of unauthorized people.
If these operations are done carefully, it will be to the total
advantage of the user because when work is recommenced, he
will find the equipment in perfect conditions.
4.0.7 RECOMMENDED LUBRICANTS
- For lubrication in general, we advise: OLIO AGIP BLASIA 460
SAE 85W/140 or equivalent, for specification see last cover
page.
- For all greasing points we advise: GRASSO AGIP GR MU EP 2
or equivalent for specifications see last cover page.
5.0 DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL
This operation is to be carried out by the customer.
Before demolishing the machine, you are advised to carefully
check its physical condition and ascertain whether there are any
parts of the structure that may be susceptible to structural collapse
or breakage during demolition.
The customer should operate in compliance with the environment
protection laws in force in his/her country.
CAUTION
The machine demolition operations should be carried out by
skilled personnel only, equipped with suitable protective
clothing (safety footwear and gloves) and auxiliary tools and
equipment.
CAUTION
All the disassembly operations for demolition should be carried
out with the machine stopped and detached from the tractor.
Before demolishing the machine, you are advised to render
harmless all the parts that may be a source of danger and
therefore:
- scrap the structure using specialized firms,
- remove any electrical apparatus according to the laws in force,
- collect oils and greases separately, to be disposed of through
specialized firms, in accordance with the regulations of the
country in which the machine was used.
When the machine is demolished the CE mark should be
destroyed together with this manual.
6.0 SUPPLY
Current supplied equipment:
- A booklet for use and maintenance;
- A booklet for spare parts;
- Cardan shaft;
- With pulley for tractors with power take-off at 540 rpm.
- A series of seeding disks;
- Row marker;
- N.4 gears (2 fitted) for wheel-gear drive;
- Pin remover;
- N.10 seeder universal joint limiter safety pins
- N.4 gears (2 fitted) for the manure spreader drive and/or
granulate distribution (if supplied with the machine);
- Optical signal set (rear lights).
Optional equipment. The seeding machine may be equipped
with:
- Double disk furrow opener version;
- Rocker version;
- With electronic hectare counter;
- With seed control monitor;
- With fixed sod-breaker;
- With mechanical or hydraulic row-marker;
- With 370 mm rubber compression wheels;
- With iron or rubber “V” compression wheel;
- With 290 mm rubber concave compression wheel complete
with seed press wheel;
- With 6.50/80 x 15 driving wheels;
- With free wheel double drive;
- With double pair trace breaker;
- With pulley for tractors with power take-off at 1000 rpm.

for any and all necessary assistance and spares.
