When finished specifying decorations, enter message text.
When decorating entered text, press
m
[Sel area] after selecting decoration,
select start point and press
t
[Origin], select end point and press
t
[Last].

[All] to decorate all. To cancel selection, press

[Cancel].
When Palette is set to OFF , press

[Input] when finished specifying
decorations and enter message text.
Decorations are reflected when message text is entered.
If mail size exceeds 10,000 bytes, bytes appear as negative.
Edit to 10,000 bytes or less.
Even after deleting text with decorations, decoration data may remain and cause
available character number to decrease. Delete decorations before deleting text.
Press
c
for 1+ seconds to delete text and decoration data together.
To undo to one step before editing message text, press
Cr1
[Undo].
Decorations cannot be undone if decoration area is specified after multiple
decorations are specified in continuation.

[Preview].
Use
u
to scroll.
View how mail appears for other party in preview screen.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for multiple decorations.

[Agree].
Message entry screen reappears.
Press
C1
[Decorate mail]

[Reset all] to delete all decorations. Inserted images are also
deleted.
To view details for inserted images, place cursor before image and press
Cr3
[File property].

i-mode mail is sent.
When message text alone exceeds 10,000 bytes, Capacity exceeded. Some data may be lost. End
editing? appears. Select Yes and press

to open compose message screen. Excess data is
deleted and

appears. Depending on mail content (text, images, etc.) excess data may not be
deleted. To re-edit, select No , press
t
and the message entry screen reappears. Edit to 10,000
bytes or less.
Note
Decorations and inserted images are quoted when replying with quote or forwarding Deco-mail.
Decorated mail sent from devices other than Deco-mail supported FOMA terminals may not appear
correctly.
When decorated text is inserted, status icon changes to
U
.
When mail with Deco-mail URL is forwarded from a model that does not support Deco-mail, the Deco-mail
message cannot be viewed by entering the URL.
