Set Vibrator to notify incoming calls/PushTalk/mail and alarms with a combination of
vibration and melody.

The vibrator pattern for alarms is the same as the pattern set for Vibration mode.

Vibration mode and volume settings are not linked. Set the volume to

Silent

to silence ring tones and alarm

tones. Set volume separately while Vibrator is set. (

P. 128, P. 418)

Also use vibration patterns set to melodies. (Melody ON)
