Gearshift points (manual transmission)

Warning

You may switch it over to reverse gear only after

your

automobile

completely

stopped;

otherwise, the transmission may be damaged.

When your automobile runs along a steep slope,

engine braking effect may be obtained by downshift

as per road condition or driving speed.

Danger

Do be careful to conduct downshift on iced, slipped

or damp pavement; otherwise, wheel lockup,

skidding, loss of control or accident may take place.

In order to improve the fuel economy and extend

the service life of engine, it is advisable to shift

up/down at the the speeds listed below.
