Parking brake

Pull  up the  parking  brake handle  to  set  the parking
brake.
To  release  the  parking  brake,  slightly  pull  up  the
parking  brake  handle  first,  and  push  the  button  by
your  thumb.  Then,  completely  lower  the  parking
brake handle.

Warning

To drive your automobile, do verify that the parking
brake is completely released, and the brake warning
lights also go out. If the parking brakes are not
completely

released,

the

brakes

might

be

overheated, and the shoes and lining may be worn
prematurely.

Parking on a slope

To park your automobile on a slope, turn the front

wheels as shown in the figure.
