Operating procedures of radio
Tuning
● Push the waveband button to select a waveband.
When FM stereo broadcast is received, the radio
may automatically change over to the stereo
mode.
● If stereo broadcast is deteriorated due to static
interference, the radio may automatically
change over to the monophonic reception mode.
● Stations may be selected in 3 ways:

Manual tuning
1. Push and hold the tuning button for more than 2
seconds.
2. Push gently the tuning button to set the
frequency to the desired one.
Every time the button is pushed, the frequency may
be changed step by step.

Side … higher frequency
●
Side … lower frequency
The frequency being received is shown in the
display screen.
Attention
The manual tuning mode may be released in 5
seconds.

Search tuning
Push gently the tuning button to set the frequency to
the desired one. Radio search radio stations from
the current frequency to higher frequencies or lower
frequencies. When a station is received, search
tuning is automatically stopped.

Side … lower frequency
Push the button once again to stop automatic
tuning midway. The frequency being received is
shown in the display screen.

Preset tuning
Push the preset station selection button to call
out the preset stations.
The frequency being received and channel
number are shown in the display screen.
How to preset radio stations
● Six (6) AM stations may be preset.
● For FM waveband, at most 6 stations may be
preset for FM1 and FM2 each, totaling 12
stations.
1. Push the waveband button to select a desired
waveband.
2. Push gently the tuning button to set the
frequency to the desired one.
3. Push and hold the desired preset station
selection button for 2 seconds or more to store
the desired frequency.
Attention
If battery is cut off or the fuse is blown, stations
memorized by the preset station selection
buttons may be eliminated, and the stations must
be stored over again.
Auto memory (AST)
● Auto station memory function is propitious for
long-term travels while you are unfamiliar with
local station frequencies. The radio stations with
receivable frequencies may be automatically
stored into the preset station selection buttons.
● When automatic storage is activated, the player
may automatically change over to AST (AM or
FM) mode, and the stations stored into the
preset station selection button in AST mode may
be overlapped.
