2 Stand in front of the automobile, pull the
auxiliary hook with your fingers, and lift up the
engine hood panel.
Warning
● When the wiper arms and blades are lifted up,
never open the engine hood panel. Otherwise,
the engine hood panel may be scored, or the
wiper arms and blades may be damaged.
● Do not use a tool to open the engine hood panel
since the tool may damage the lock hooks.
Strut the engine hood panel
Insert the brace strut of engine hood panel into the
slot in the engine hood panel.
Danger
Verify that the brace strut of engine hood panel
already struts the engine hood panel securely.
Failure to verify the condition may lead to sliding
and closing of the engine hood panel, resulting in
severe personal injuries.
Close the engine hood panel
1. Strut the engine hood panel by hand, and set
back the brace strut at the same time.
2. Lower the engine hood panel slowly.
Danger
● Prior to driving your automobile, verify that the
engine hood panel is already securely closed
and locked up.
Otherwise, the engine hood panel might be
accidentally opened in process of driving and
block off the vision of driver.
