In the following cases, the air bag may not be
triggered off, and the expected purpose may not be
reached.
● If the ignition switch of your automobile is set
to the “LOCK” or “ACC” position when
collision takes place;
SRS air bag device
Air bag warning light
When any fault is detected, the warning light may
goes on to warn the driver of a system fault.
When SRS air bags are kept normal, the warning
light may go on for 6 seconds when the ignition
switch is set to the “ON” position.
Warning
● When one of the following conditions occurs,
contact the local special service store
immediately for inspection of the conditions of
the system.
● Warning light fails to go on when the ignition
switch is set to the “ON” position;
● Warning light goes on when engine is running;
● The warning light does not go off when 6
seconds expire after the ignition switch is set to
the “ON” position;
● The warning light flickers when 6 seconds
expire after the ignition switch is set to the
“ON” position;
● The warning light of air bag may goes on when
any exception of the pretensioner mechanism
takes place.
