2. If steam emerges from engine hood panel, shut down
the engine, and keep it closed till no steam emerges
from the engine hood panel. When no steam
emerges, start up the engine, and open the engine
hood panel to ventilate the engine inside.
3. If no steam emerges from the engine hood panel,
open the engine hood panel for ventilation while the
engine is running.
4. Visually check the engine compartment. If any
phenomena exist inside the engine compartment,
immediately shut down the engine and contact the
local special service store.
Cooling fan does not rotate;
Steam or hot water leaks from positions such as
hose;
If there is no water inside the radiator reservoir;
The fan belt is cut off;
5. When the pointer of water temperature transducer
drops to below appropriate temperature, shut down
the engine.
6. When the engine is completely cooled down, check
the components.
7. Check whether or not the cooling water level is
right, check the fan belt for looseness, and check the
radiator blade (heat dissipation section) for visible
contamination or attached filth.
8. If the cooling fluid level is insufficient, add
cooling fluid (see Section 14).
9. Contact the local special service store for
inspectoin as soon as possible.
The engine may be subjected to overheat
in summer. The following checks shall be
conducted regularly:
Leak of cooling system
Water level of radiator and reservoir
Clogging of radiator blades
Tension of driving belt
If the engine is frequently subjected to
overheat, contact the local special service
store for inspection of the cooling system.
Positions of lifting jack and tools:
Beneath the driver's seat
1. Slide the driver's seat to the frontmost position.
2. Take out the tool bag.
