Operating/Outrigger
Controls

To slow down the boom’s swing speed, the unit’s LMI outputs a signal to the

swing holding solenoid valve

(located on top of the swing motor in the turret)

to re-

route part of the hydraulic fluid flow through the needle valve.

The

ERFSD reduces hydraulic output by approximately 50 percent, so boom

function speeds will be cut by half.

The following LMI modes will activate the slow down function in all modes:


