10. Locate the static valve in the lower left corner of the component panel (see

Figure 5-11). The stainless steel solvent outlet line is connected to the top of
the static valve. (The other end of the solvent outlet line is connected to the
lower AutoSeal tip.)

Remove the fitting that connects the solvent outlet line to the static valve.
Carefully feed the tubing through the small round opening in the component
panel (see Figure 5-11) and into the left side of the instrument.

NOTE Many tubes and wires are connected to both sides of the

component panel. Be careful not to disconnect or unseat
any of the connections.
