Changing the controller type MUST only be carried out if it is safe for commissioning and meets the prerequisites stated in
the restrictions.
CAUTION
Changing the controller type resets the default I/O configuration. The I/O configuration must checked and reconfigured as
necessary after changing the controller type.

18.5.2 Restrictions
The different types of controller require different types of hardware module to be installed. If the hardware modules are not present it
is not possible to change the controller type.

CAUTION
Before attempting to change the controller type, the following prerequisites MUST be met.
Prerequisites before changing type
You can only change the controller type if it is safe for commissioning, that is to say:
1. The engine must be stopped (Not applicable to BUS TIE breaker controller)
2. The breaker must be open.
3. The controller must be in switchboard control.
OR
1. The controller is in Emulation mode.
