Chapter 4

Replacing Components and Preventive Maintenance

SE505 Hardware Manual

7. Remove all the screws attached to the left endplate.

8. Remove Y-axis stator.

9. Remove the two screws attached to the base of the two endplates.

10. Remove the X-axis.

11. Replace with a new X-axis. Reattach the two screws to the base of the two endplates.

12. Replace the Y-axis stator.

13. Tighten the left endplate with screws.

14. Reconnect the encoder grounding cable and D-sub connector.

15. Tighten the right endplate with screws.

16. Reconnect the cable chain.

17. Reattach and tighten the grounding board with screws.
