Preventive Maintenance
Cleaning the Panel Sensors
The conveyor contains four sensors as shown in Figure 85.

To clean the panel sensors
1. Turn off all electrical power to the system. For more information, refer to the section
“ Shutting Down the System ” on page 59.
2. Open the SE505 hood.
3. Make sure all motion has stopped.
4. Use a dry, soft cloth with household glass cleaner.
5. Gently wipe the panel sensors lenses.

Warning: Make sure the system power is turned off before working inside the hood. Gantry
motion can pinch or sever objects in its path.

Note: Do not use solvents or abrasives to clean the panel sensor lenses.
