Static pressure setup
For the static pressure setup page to be available in a particular house/barn, a static pressure sensor
must be configured in that house/barn.
To setup static pressure, navigate to the setup page
, and then select
Static pressure
from the left
hand side of the screen.
With the
House setup
radio button selected at the bottom left, enter the following:
Wind delay —
Time for static pressure to be out of range for a compensation to be performed
Power ventilation high and low static pressure limit —
High and low static pressure operating range
limits in Power ventilation
Tunnel ventilation high and low static pressure limit —
High and low static pressure operating range
limits in Tunnel ventilation
Compensation modes
There are four types of static compensation modes. Three are available in swine production and four in
poultry.
Ceiling (swine) or Attic (poultry) —
Static pressure compensation values are used when only ceiling or
attic inlets are used in the current power ventilation stage
Sidewall (Swine and poultry) —
Static pressure compensation values are used when a sidewall inlet is
used in the current power ventilation stage
Transitional (poultry only) —
Static pressure compensation values are used when a tunnel inlet is used
in the current power ventilation stage
Tunnel (swine and poultry) —
Static pressure compensation values are used when tunnel ventilation
stages are used
Cooling setup
Cooling setup varies depending on the cooling equipment that is connected and other configuration
variations.
Cool cells
Table 10-1
with fixed absolute house/barn start temperature or external start temperature
These settings are general settings for all cool cell setups. Only variations are shown in the other tables.
Reference temperature
[House/barn, External] Cool cell can controlled according to house/barn tempera-
ture or external temperature
NOTE:
External reference temperature is grey (not selectable) when there is not at
least one external temperature probe
Control mode
For House/barn reference : [Fixed temperature, Fixed offset on set point, variable
offset on set point (cooling curve)]
For External reference: [Fixed temperature, Variable temperature]
Maximum temperature
(offset)
Offset from start temperature at which a cooling device reaches its maximum oper-
ating time.
