Chapter 8: Equipment configuration
Configuring a static pressure sensor
1. Press on
Static Pressure Sensor
in the list of equipment on the left hand side of the screen and
then press on the
icon.
2. Enter the name of you choice or leave the default name.
NOTE:
If the name chosen is too long, it is truncated on the tile.
3. Select the model from the drop down list.
4. Select the enclosure, slot (or module) and input where the static pressure sensor is connected from
the drop down lists.
The tile is green and displays the static pressure sensor reading.
Configuring an auger
1. Press on the
Auger
in the list of equipment on the left hand side of the screen and then press on the
icon.
2. Set the following parameters:
Name —
Enter the name of your choice for the auger. If the name is too long, it is truncated on the
tile
Brand —
Select the brand from the drop down list. If your brand isn’t displayed, choose custom
Model —
Select the model from the drop down list
Supply —
Select the power supply for your auger
Expansion Box —
Select the enclosure where the auger is located
Slot —
Select the slot (or module) to which the auger is connected
Output —
Select the output to which the auger is connected
Auxiliary switch —
Displays the list of available inputs within the selected module.
NOTE:
This option is only displayed if you are not using a 4IN/8R card
Aux. switch state —
2 choices are available for selection:
closed when running
or
open when
running
. An auger auxiliary run feedback switch is an auxiliary contact from an auger motor contac-
tor which opens or closes when the motor is energized (On). This feedback is used to let the control-
ler know the auger is running when it either uses a contactor or a hardware manual bypass switch
mounted on the auger itself.
Max amps —
Enter the maximum amperage draw for the auger
Min amps —
Enter the minimum amperage draw for the auger
Max amps and min amps total —
Read only parameters. Displays the minimum or maximum
amperage of each auger
