3. Enter the temperature value over which an alarm is activated when in clean mode. High Alarm is
Optional. There is a check box for EDGE to consider using High Alarm settings in Clean Mode.
4. Enter the temperature value under which an alarm is activated when in clean mode. Low Alarm is
Optional. There is a check box for EDGE to consider using Low Alarm settings in Clean Mode.
Once the settings have been entered you are ready to use clean mode in your house/barns. In order to
use clean mode, check the
use clean mode
box in the System configuration
menu under the
Rooms
section found on the left hand side of the screen
Using pre-heat mode
Pre-heat mode is used to prepare the house/barn by slowly raising the house/barn temperature set point
to the desired temperature for the start of production. When this mode is enabled, the controller fully
closes the Tunnel curtain, adjusts the position of the air inlet and provides a minimum level of heat and
ventilation (optional). The controller also puts the animal age back to 0 day (Off).
Setting minimum ventilation for pre-heat mode
1. For the selected house/barn, press on the
icon , and then press on the house/barn setup button
on the lower left hand corner.
2. Press on the Power ventilation menu, and set the required CFM in the Pre-heat Mode section.
3. During general house/barn configuration, press in the box next to
use pre-heat mode
to enable
pre-heat mode for the selected house/barn.
Setting the target temperature for pre-heat mode
1. For the selected house/barn, press on the
icon, and then press on the house/barn setup button
on the lower left hand corner.
2. Select the house/barn temperature setup menu.
3. Set the target temperature while operating in pre-heat mode.
Setting alarm parameters for pre-heat mode
1. For the selected house/barn, press on the
icon, and then press on the alarm setup button on
the lower left hand corner.
2. Select the house/barn temperature alarm menu.
3. Enter the temperature value over which an alarm is activated when in pre-heat mode. High alarm is
optional. There is a check box for EDGE to consider using high alarm settings in Pre-heat Mode.
4. Enter the temperature value under which an alarm is activated when in pre-heat mode. Low alarm is
optional. There is a check box for EDGE to consider using low alarm settings in Pre-heat Mode.
Once the settings have been entered you are ready to use pre-heat mode in your house/barns. In order to
use pre-heat mode, check the
use pre-heat mode
box in the System configuration
menu under the
Rooms
