Chapter 12: Ventilation operation
displayed in the status bar under the current condition information. The ventilation page has three differ-
ent views: stage view, fan view and inlet view. You can switch between the three views by pressing on the
radio button selector.

In production and stop production : When using a curve, field is grey (cannot be edited).
Field shows current set point output from the active curve When not using a curve, field is
white, changing the set point here changes the set point in the power ventilation setup.
In clean mode: Displays clean mode ventilation set point. Changing the set point here
changes the clean mode set point in the power ventilation setup
In pre-heat mode: Displays pre-heat mode ventilation set point. Changing the set point here
changes the pre-heat mode set point in the power ventilation setup
Absolute minimum ventilation value in cfm or cfm/head. Recorded as an offset to the set point
or actual curve value, the corrections follow any set point or curve change until the end of the
manual override timer. If no timer is set, manual override stays on. When no manual override is
applied, the field is blank. To end a manual override, you can enter the set point which makes
the field blank.
Natural and
Tunnel offset The reference value is read from the ventilation grid temperatures and is displayed here.
NOTE: Natural and Tunnel offsets apply to all house/barn modes
Bandwidth
Current bandwidth and setup bandwidth (top right corner of cell), if current and setup band-
widths are different
Range
Current temperature range of mode (From Set point + Offset to Set point + BW)
Curve icon Curve icon is displayed when a power BW curve is used
In clean mode, the minimum ventilation section displays the clean mode ventilation settings. Changing
the set point changes the clean mode ventilation set point. All other settings are displayed, allowing you
to setup the house/barn while in clean mode to be ready when animals come in. The ventilation mode is
replaced by
Clean mode and the clean mode icon is displayed.
In pre-heat mode, the minimum ventilation section displays the pre-heat mode ventilation settings.
Changing the set point changes the pre-heat mode ventilation set point. All other settings are displayed,
allowing you to setup the house/barn while in pre-heat mode to be ready when animals come in. The ven-
tilation mode is replaced by
Pre-heat and the pre-heat icon is displayed.
The information in the table on the bottom half, as well as the parameters on the bottom right hand side
change according to the view. The following information is displayed in stage view, which is the default
view:
Stage number
and type Number of the stage for the given line and type: Power, Natural, Tunnel
Status Current status of the stage (green when On, grey when Off). Note: only one stage can be on
at a time
Start T The house/barn temperature at which the stage starts
