Curves
When you want a system value to change over time, rather than remain static, a curve is used. Curves
can be used for many different system parameters, such as temperature set point (for example, tempera-
ture set point changes as the animal ages) or heating/cooling on/off settings. Curves are used extensively
in the EDGE controller. Curves can be made up of absolute values or offsets. The units used in the
curves are related to the type of curve created.
