Inlet Conveyor Drive Belt Tension
Adjustment
Adjust tension of a inlet conveyor drive belt
(Figure 7-11, A) when it begins to sag noticeably
or to skip on the pulley. Both conditions cause
excessive wear on the belt and shorten its life.
Required Tools
9/16”, 3/8” wrenches
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Raise the front access guard and secure in
position using the provided bracket arms
(Figure 7-2).
Tension on the belt is adjusted by moving
the inlet belt drive motor (Figure 7-12) in
its slotted mounting holes:
Loosen the nuts securing the motor
bolts.
Move the motor to adjust tension on
the belt.
When tension on the belt is adequate,
tighten the nuts.
Lower the front access guard back into
position. Make sure it is secure.

Enabling/Disabling Automatic
Misfeed Reject
The unit is shipped from the factory with
automatic reject enabled. This means that misfed
items will fall to the floor in the center of the
unit.
To process all flatwork, regardless if it is
misfed, disable the automatic misfeed reject.
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Open the right endframe door.
Remove the jumper wire from IC3 (Figure
7-13) to disable the automatic misfeed
reject function of the unit. Reinsert the
wire to re-enable the function.
Close the right endframe door.
