Rotating Elements Stop
1. Drive belt or chain is slip-
ping or broken.
Adjust tension or replace if broken,
worn, or frayed.

2. Idler pulley loose or fro-
zen.
Adjust tension or replace.
•
3. One rotating element
stationary: Check for bro-
ken shaft, bad bearing or
loose/worn drive sprocket.
Replace as necessary.
•
4. Check CHI Panel for message and locate appropriate solution within
this chapter.
Machine Operation is Sluggish
Message reads:
AIR PRESSURE IS LO
1. Incoming air pressure is
below 60 psi (415 kPa)
Make sure air supply to feeder is ON
and supply hose is not obstructed or
loose.
Make sure air supply to feeder is at
least 80 psi (550 kPa).
Make sure air filter is clean. Refer to
the
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
chapter,
