When in manual mode, press the SPEED

/

buttons at the bottom of the CHI panel to adjust
the speed setting.
NOTE: Manual mode speed
adjustments should be temporary.
Use the CHI Panel Program mode
to permanently set the speed for
a specific program.
As a general rule, start with the spreader/feeder
speed set slightly slower than the ironer speed,
up to 5 fpm (1.5 mpm).
If the feeder is set too fast, the flatwork will
bunch as it feeds into the ironer. If the speed is
set too slow, the flatwork will be excessively
stretched.
Counter Operation
The CHI Panel automatically tracks the count
totals in each program selected. To view the
counts for each of the two stations in any program
selected:
Press the CURSOR key until the flash-
ing cursor is under the value for count
(CNT).
Press ENTER to see the totals for the
LEFT and RIGHT stations.

CHI Select Key
The CHI Select key enables CORNER GRAB
DELAY for fine tuning of corner size (when off,
corner grab delay is 0.0”). For more information
regarding this setting, refer to the CHI PANEL
OPERATION bulletin, Adjustment section,
Inlet Adjustment subsection.
