Blower Rotation Checkout
The vacuum blowers must be checked to sure
they are turning in the proper direction; this will
indicate the machine is properly phased.
Required Tools
screwdriver
Perform only when the unit is
RUNNING.
Use extreme caution.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Remove the vacuum tube from the right
vacuum blower inlet (Figure 2-32).
Turn power ON at the main disconnect
switch.
Press the green Start button at either sta-
tion.
Note the rotation of the vacuum blower
motor as soon as it starts. It should be
clockwise (Figure 2-33).
Immediately press the square red
Stop button at either station.

WARNING
Only a qualified electrician
should make or correct any
electrical connections in or
to the unit.
If the rotation of the motor is not clock-
wise:
Turn power OFF at the main discon-
nect switch.
Open the electrical connection box.
Disconnect and interchange any two
of the three electrical supply wires
connected to the fused main discon-
nect switch.
Close and secure the electrical connec-
tion box door.
Repeat Steps 3 to 6 to verify the blower
motor is now rotating in the correct direc-
tion.
Re-secure the vacuum tube to the right
vacuum blower inlet.
