20. Open the Saddle Unit Lock Release Lever.
21. Loosen the adjusting screw and move the
Saddle to the left or right to adjust tilt as
necessary.
* If the staple positions tilt as in step 19, move
the Saddle to the left as shown on the left.
Reference: 0 ± 1.5 mm

22. Load a five-page A4C or Letter C document
in the Document Feeding Tray.
23. Select the 2-Point Staple/Crease function
and make a copy (A3 or Ledger copy).
24. Select the functions as follows: User’s
Choice 5/6
→
Crease/Center Staple
→
Center Staple.

25. Fold the copy fed out along the crease.
26. Check the staple position for deviation from
the crease. (Measure width A.)
Reference: 0 ± 1.5 mm
27. Using the ▲ key, set the numeric value and
select “OK.”
* 1 step = 0.5 mm
