(3) Cutting an opening for the external line terminals
* If the hard disk drive kit ( ZC3500050 ) is to be installed, install it now. For details on
install ing the hard disk drive kit, refer to the Installation Guide included with the
hard disk drive kit ( ZC3500050 6).
(4) Reassembling the unit
Reassemble the unit by reversing the operations used to disassemble it.

Refer to “(1) Removing the outer covers and plates” on page 2.
NOTE
Be sure to give the following items included with the copier options to the user.
• ZC3500080 , ZC3500130 (Printer Driver CD-ROM, Printer Controller Quick Guide)
• Network Scan Kit ( ZC3500110 ) (CD-ROM (User’s Manual))
• Internet Fax & Network Scan Kit ( ZC3500120 ) (CD-ROM (User’s Manual),
(CD-ROM (Utility Disk))
• Network Interface card ( ZC3500090 ) (PageScope CD-ROM, Scanner Mode &
PageScope Light Quick Guide)
4. Checks After Installation
Perform the following operations and checks on the copier control panel.
4.1 If a printer controller
(ZC3500080/ZC3500130
) is installed:
• Check the operation by printing a test page.
The test pages that can be printed describe the following.
• Setting Contents
• PCL Demo Page
• PCL Font List
• PS Font List (can be used only with
ZC3500130 )
Printing procedure
1. Press the [Utility] key.
2. Touch [Printer Settings].
3. Touch [Test Print].
4. Select the test pages to be printed, and then press the [Start] key.
4.2 If the network scan kit (
ZC3500110
) or Internet fax &
network
scan kit (
ZC3500120
) is installed:
• Press the [Utility] key on the control panel, and then, in the Utility screen, touch
[Admin. Management], then [Admin. 2], then [Network Set], and check that [DNS Set-
tings] appears.
* As a default, the administrator access code is “00000000”.
Cut along the perforations in the rear cover to
create an opening for the LAN and USB exter-
nal line connectors.
