NetWare Printing Setting
Settings made on the controller side
Settings are made to permit printing in the NetWare environment from PageScope Light.
After the controller settings have been made, turn OFF the copier and then turn it ON
again.
Settings made on the PC side
• Start the “Add Printer Wizard” and select “Network printer.”
• Display the printer on the network (click the “Browse...” button for Windows 98, 98SE
and Me and the “Next” button for Windows 2000 and XP) and select the queue name
of the printer registered with the server (NDPS Printer Agent for NDPS).
• On the screen for selecting the manufacturer and model of the printer, click “Have
Disk...”
• Click the “Browse...” button, select the corresponding folder in the CD-ROM, and then
click the “OK” button.
• Select the printer you want to use from the printer list. Then, click “Next.”
• Complete the installation of the driver as instructed by the “Add Printer Wizard”.
7.2 Scanning Functions
Specify settings for the scanning functions that can be used, depending on whether the
network scan kit (
ZC3500110 ) or Internet fax & network scan kit ( ZC3500120 ) is installed.
There are two ways to specify the settings: from the control panel of the copier or from the
Web browser on a computer connected to the network (PageScope Light). However, the
general procedure for specifying the settings from the copier’s control panel is described
here. Use PageScope Light to specify the settings only if the settings cannot be specified
from the copier’s control panel.

In order to perform a Scan to HDD operation, the hard disk drive kit ( ZC3500050 ) must
be ins talled.

In order to perform Scan to PC (SMTP) or IP Scanner operations, IP Scanner on the
enclosed Utilities disk must first be installed on the computer.

In order to perform Network FAX transmission, Network Fax on the enclosed Utilities
disk must first be installed on the computer.
