Upgrading from an Earlier Version of NetDoc

If you already have

NetDoc

version 1.0 installed, the process of upgrading to version 1.1 is fast

and straightforward.

Note:

Before you upgrade, verify that you meet the minimum hardware and software

requirements for both the server and client workstation machines. (See

System Requirements

To upgrade to NetDoc v1.1:

Insert the

NetDoc

v1.1 CD into the CD-ROM drive of the IIS server on which

NetDoc

installed.

The install server screen should appear. (If the install does not start automatically, select

Run

from the

Start

menu, type

D:\setup.exe,

and skip to step 3.) Click

Install NetDoc

When the InstallShield Welcome screen appears, click

Next

When the End User License Agreement (EULA) screen appears, click

Yes

to accept it. If

you decline the agreement, the software will not install.

When the

Ready to Install

screen appears, click

Install

. InstallShield will.

•

Remove the old

NetDoc

files (excluding the Web.config file and the Attachment

directory).

•

Install the new

NetDoc

files.

When the

Setup Complete

screen appears, click

Finish

to complete the upgrade process.
