(5)   Greasing the Lever Assemblies

• 

Clean off the old grease every six months and apply fresh silicon grease (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., 
Ltd G-40M or equivalent product) to the stainless steel part, spring stopper and shaft. Also reapply 
grease when the lever operation becomes stiff. (See “8B-5-1 (12) Replacing the Spring or Spring 
Stopper” on page 113.)
