Make sure to go to an authorized BAIC
dealership to have the airbag system checked
and repaired.

Do NOT try to refit the front bumper or
any of the vehicle body structures on your
own.
If you want to sell the vehicle, please tell the
new owner that the vehicle is equipped with an
airbag system and let him/her know the date of
replacements of the airbag and its components.
If the vehicle is scrapped, the undeployed airbag
will pose potential risks. Therefore, before
scrapping the vehicle, be sure to ask specialized
personnel to safely deploy the airbag under
special safe conditions.
Front Airbags
The airbag for the driver is situated inside the
steering wheel. Its position is marked with the
word “AIRBAG”.
The airbag for the front passenger is installed
inside the dashboard above the glove box and its
position is marked with the word “AIRBAG”.
If the front passenger assumes the correct sitting
posture and correctly fastens his/her seat belt,
when the vehicle suffers a severe impact, the
front airbag will provide additional protection to
his/her chest and face.
