Warning
When driving, unfastening the seat belt is
strictly prohibited, in order to prevent
serious injury in the event of an accident.
Cautions
●
Before the vehicle fully stops, it is
prohibited to unfasten the seat belt.
●
When unfastening the seat belt, after the
latch is released, it is necessary to retract the
seat belt with the help of your hand to
prevent the metal latch of the belt from
injuring passengers when the seat belt is
retracting quickly.
Seat Belt Retractor
All the front seats of this vehicle are equipped
with seat belt retractors. When serious frontal or
tail collisions happen, the sensor will trigger the
seat belt retractor, and the retractor will tighten
the seat belt in the direction of retraction and
restrict the forward movement of the
passengers.
The explosive pre-tensioner device of the seat
belt can only be used once. In the event of a
minor frontal collision, side collision or rear
collision, side tipping or an accident without
notable frontal action force, the seat belt
retractor will not work.
Cautions
●
When the seat belt retractor is triggered, a
small amount of smoke will be emitted. This
is a normal occurrence and does not indicate
that the vehicle has caught fire. There is no
need to worry about it.
●
When the seat belt retractor is discarded,
the relevant safety regulations must be
complied with. Authorized BAIC dealerships
which are familiar with the relevant safety
regulations may provide you with an enquiry
service
If any of the following situations arise, please
contact an authorized BAIC dealership as soon
as possible:

The front part (marked in the figure) has been
damaged, and the seat belt retractor does not
work.
●
The seat belt retractor or its surrounding parts
are scratched, broken or have other damage.
