System Fault
In case of fault to reverse rearview system, no
image will be shown on the reverse rearview
interface, and words “reverse rearview camera
fails” appear on DVD display screen. At this
time, the reverse rearview system fails to
operate properly, and it should be repaired and
detected at an authorized BAIC dealership.

During reversing, don

t be completely
absorbed by the reversing rearview image, but
also observe the surrounding traffic situation at
any time, including traffic situation in front of
the vehicle.

It is impossible to accurately judge the
distance between the vehicle and the object with
the rearview camera, so environmental
conditions shall be judged based on physical
conditions.
●
The reversing rearview system inevitably
has some blind areas, and things in these areas
are beyond its reach.
●
Keep the rearview camera clean because the
camera covered with ice, snow or foreign
matters will result in vague or no image.
●
Extreme weathers, like bright sunshine, ice
and snow, may influence the display effects of
the reverse rearview images, so adjust the
driving method accordingly.
●
While reversing, the driver must be
responsible for checking whether there are
people (especially children) and small animals
in the operating area. During reversing, don
’

completely rely on the reversing rearview
system. Observe the surroundings even at very
low speed during operation.
Precautions for Reversing Rearview
System
The reversing rearview system is only a
reversing assist system. It cannot replace the
driver’s objective analysis of objects. The
camera has some blind areas, so some positions
are beyond its reach.
Keep the camera clean and free of ice so that it
can properly function. When using high
pressure cleaning equipment to wash the vehicle,
do not spray and wash the camera for a long
time. During spray cleaning, the nozzle must be
more than 10cm from the camera.
