Safe Driving

 

 

 

For his/her safety and the safety of passengers 

and to reduce the risk of personal injury and 

death during an accident, the driver should 

perform the following operations

 

Adjust the steering wheel so that a distance of 

at least 25cm is maintained between the chest 

and the steering wheel.   

Move the seat back and forth to a suitable 

position, so that the accelerator pedal and the 

brake pedal can be fully depressed when you 

slightly bend your knees.   

  Ensure that you can hold the highest point of 

the steering wheel by slightly bending your 

elbow.   

Adjust the headrest so that its upper edge is 

level with the top of your head, and keep the 

back of your head as close to the headrest as 

possible.   

Adjust the backrest to a suitable angle so that 

your back fully fits against the backrest.

strictly follow the following instructions: 

Do NOT allow your chest to get too close to 

the steering wheel. Otherwise, the airbag 

system cannot provide effective protection 

and may even cause serious harm to you. 

  Hold both hands on the outer ring of the 

steering wheel (positioned between point 9-10 

at left hand and point 3-4 at right hand) to 

ensure that you can see all the instruments 

and indicator lights on the combination 

instrument. 

Adjust the steering wheel so that it faces 

your chest and confirm that the adjustment 

mechanism has been firmly locked. This can 

effectively reduce any harm which may be 

caused if the airbag is triggered. 

When driving, do NOT tilt the seat 

backrest too far. Make sure you wear your 

seat belt correctly and maintain the correct 

sitting position so as to
