If the brake fluid is below the “MIN” mark, then
it is necessary to add brake fluid.
Before opening the engine hood, be sure to
carefully read and follow the relevant warning
instructions.
The brake fluid storage tank of the vehicle is
located inside the engine compartment. The
brake fluid storage tank cover is yellow.
Due to the wear of the brake pad, the braking
system of the vehicle will automatically adjust
the braking pads. As a result, the brake fluid
level will slightly drop. This is a normal
occurrence. There is no need to worry about it.
If the brake fluid level falls markedly over a
short period of time, then it indicates that the
braking system may have a leak. In such a
situation, you must immediately stop the vehicle.
Do NOT continue driving. You should contact
an authorized BAIC dealership as soon as
possible so as to have the braking system
thoroughly checked.

Replacing Brake Fluid
The brake fluid is absorbent and can absorb the
moisture in the surrounding air. . If the brake
fluid contains too much moisture, it will corrode
the braking system. This will lower the boiling
point of the brake fluid and result in a reduction
of braking effect
The brake fluid used in this vehicle is specially
developed by BAIC for the braking system of
this vehicle. To ensure that the braking system
can work normally, it is suggested that an
authorized BAIC dealership should be asked to
replace brake liquid with one that meets the
relevant standard.
