In the use of engine braking, the lower the
transmission gear, the higher the engine speed,
the greater the drag force, the more obvious the
braking effect.
The plateau region has thin air and low air
pressure, which is different from the
atmospheric pressure of the plain. In plateau
area, due to the effect on the brake booster
diaphragm per unit area of the atmospheric
pressure is less than a standard atmospheric
pressure, so the brake power will become
smaller, and produce the same power effect time
get longer, and this is a normal physical
phenomena, so when braking in plateau region
need to put greater brake pedal force. When
braking is needed, do not slam on the brake
pedal many times, but keep the foot on the
brake pedal to ensure the braking effect by
controlling the brake pedal force.
4. Snow and ice
Due to the low friction coefficient of snow &
ice covered surface, the braking distance will be
greatly extended during braking, and the
braking distance will increase with the increase
of vehicle speed. Therefore, special attention
should be paid to control the speed and maintain
a large safe distance from the leading vehicle or
the lateral vehicle when driving on snow & ice
covered surface.
No idling on ice and snow road.
5. Surface rust
If the vehicle has been parked for a long time or
you have not used the brake system for a long
time, then the brake disc friction plate may
develop rust, and the friction plate may develop
dirt. We recommend that you clean the brake
disc several times before driving.
6. Braking system failure
If you find that the braking distance suddenly
becomes longer or the brake pedal travel
becomes longer, there may be a fault with the
braking system. In this case, should
immediately drive to the nearest Beijing car
dealership repair. During the way, keep the
speed low, adjust your driving style, and apply
more force to the brake pedal when braking.
7. Brake overheating
When you do not need to brake, do not lightly
step on the brake pedal and make the brake
"skid", which will lead to overheating of the
brake, extend the braking distance and increase
wear.
If spoiler, wheel trim plate, etc., must not affect
the flow of air to the front brake, otherwise the
brake will overheat.
