NEW ENTRY

NEW ENTRY calls up a menu in which new entries can be made into the call
number directory.

FIGURE A12.8

Clicking NAME, AREA CODE or NUMBER X activates the panel of digits (and
letters).

Spaces can be entered using BLANK (for the names, for example).

During the entry of names, the entire “keyboard” can be used, while during the
entry of numbers, only the digits can be used.

SAVE is used to store the entries that have been made. If the “NEW ENTRY”
menu is exited (with CLOSE) without first clicking SAVE, the entries that have
been made are lost.

CR, DEL, P, B, R and CLOSE have the same functions as in the MANUAL
CALL menu (see section A12.4.2 above).

Note

A new entry cannot be assigned a configuration using the on
screen display. This assignment can only be done with the
STORE ON BOARD function of the PC user interface (see
SECTION 3.3.3.6).
