There are different versions and types of the TITAN videocodec. It is possible
to extend the range of provided features. The date of production of the codec
must be known, however. A list has been appended at the end of this chapter
with the relevant data. Please keep this list in a safe place. If this list is lost, it
could become necessary to send the unit in for the purposes of feature exten-
sion

The following extension possibilities exist (depending on codec version):
– Extension from a maximum of 2 to a maximum of 6 B channels,
– Extension from a maximum of 2 to a maximum of 30 B channels

– Extension from a maximum of 6 to a maximum of 30 B channels

– Extension of the inband signalling for unidirectional connections
– On screen display
– Inverse multiplexer as per ISO/IEC CD 13871
A11.1 Features extension of the network interface (upgrade)
To obtain an upgrade, send a copy of the page with the equipment data (the
page with Serial Number and Factory Settings to:
