2.10 Setting the G.703 network interface
The following two modes can be selected for the network interface as per
G.703 (E1):
– E1 interface symmetrical,
– E1 interface unsymmetrical (factory setting), or
– T1 interface symmetrical
Before activation with software, each of these modes must be set on the inter-
face unit (see FIGURE 2.2) by means of jumpers!
It should be ensured that all jumpers are inserted in the same row.
