4 Maintenance Procedures

To clean the lamp window:

1. Prepare the instrument for working on the source (see

page 88)

2. Pull the source enclosure release (located at the bottom, right-hand side)

outward, and swing open the enclosure.

3. Use methanol or isopropyl alcohol, applied to the lint-free cloth, to

carefully clean the lamp window.

4. Close the source enclosure.

5. Slide closed the instrument’s source interface door.
