Startup and Maintenance Instructions

Only qualified persons may perform the work!

Adding, exchanging and starting up PROFIsafe I/O modules may only be carried
out by personnel trained in safety-related procedures!

Check safety functions!

Before start up, all safety functions must be checked for their specified
effectiveness!

7.1.1

Proof Test

During the final inspection of the PROFIsafe I/O modules, the serial number with
the date of manufacture must be applied to the housing.
