Diagnostic wiring error with output configuration H-Side/L-Side 1

If you have set the

Output Configuration

parameter to the value "H-Side/L-

Side 1", then you have to connect connection O2B to the 0V potential of the field
supply voltage. Otherwise, the PROFIsafe I/O module identifies an error and the
"Wiring error" diagnostic message appears.
The PROFIsafe I/O module identifies the wiring error only when switching on
both outputs O1 and O2.

7.4.5.8.2 Output Configuration H-Side/L-Side 2

If you have set the

Output Configuration

parameter to the value "H-Side/L-

Side 2", then you can use the PROFIsafe I/O module to switch two loads each
with full rated current. The load is connected between connection O1B and the 0V
potential of the field supply voltage and switched using the bit 0 of the output
process iamge. The second load is connected from the 24V potential of the field
supply voltage to connection O2A and switched using the bit 1 of the output
process image.
