7.4.5.8.3 Output Configuration H-Side/H-Side 1

If you have set the

Output Configuration

parameter to the value "H-Side/H-

Side 1", then the PROFIsafe I/O module switches the 24V potential of the field
supply voltage exclusively. In this case, the load is switched by internal serial
redundancy two-channel and separated exclusively from the 24V potential of the
field supply voltage. Connect connection O1B to connection O2A. Connect the
load from connection O2B to the 0V potential of the field supply voltage.

7.4.5.8.4 Output Configuration H-Side/H-Side 2

If you have set the

Output Configuration

parameter to the value "H-Side/L-

Side 2", then you can use the PROFIsafe I/O module to switch two loads each
with full rated current. The loads are connected between connection O1B to the
0V potential and from connection O2B to the 0V potential of the field supply
voltage.
