Digital inputs O1 - O2 receive the 24 V field supply voltage through the CAGE
CLAMP
®
connections 24 V and 0 V on the right half of the enclosure.
Both supply points for the 24V field supply voltage are galvanically seperated
from each other and may by supplied by different PELV/SELV power supplies
from different phases.

If unregulated power supplies are used for the field supply voltage of the
WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 are used or if voltage dips occur when switching
capacitive loads (e.g., interference-free modules with internal capacitors),
passivation of the PROFIsafe I/O modules can occur.
In such case, you must use a capacitor (200 µF per 1 A load current) to support
the field supply voltage for the digital inputs. You can use a back-up capacitor
module with a capacity of 10000 µF (Order No. 288-824). The back-up capacitor
module (Order No. 288 824) has a maximum current carrying capacity of 1 A and
may not be used to support the 24V field supply voltage for the digital power
outputs.
