2B. CONSOLE

The control panel supports a total of 16 LCD consoles LCD300/S for system programming, monitoring and control.

2B.1

LCD300/S

The console is composed of:

Rubber keypad with 16 keys (DTMF symbols and function keys included)

36 signaling LED

Backlit liquid crystal display with 2 lines of 16 alphanumerical characters each

Speaker for system voice report

The console has to be connected via serial bus RS485 and configurated by dip-switch.

SERIAL LINE DIAGNOSTICS

Failure or malfunctioning of the serial bus or the console and special operating
conditions are viewed on the display:

LINE ABSENT

Console defective or serial bus disconnected (all LED
are blinking).

!! STAND-BY !!

Console waiting, i.e. another console is in use. The
console is inhibited for 10 seconds.

LINE DISTURBED

Interferences or serial bus is badly connected.

The diagnostics are repeated approx. every 10 seconds alternately in Italian, French,
English, Spanish and German.
