TERMINAL BOARD
The removable terminal board contains:
z
2 plug-in connectors (JH1 and JH2) for the connection with the CPU board
z
1 RS485 serial bus connector
z
1 RS485 serial bus connector for the connection with the internal input extension
z
input and output terminals
z
fuse for the protection of the detector power supply
2.4.1 SERIAL PORTS
The control panel provides 3 serial ports:
z
RS485 serial bus con S terminal (on the plug-in terminal board).
Permits the connection of all external devices that communicate via serial bus,
such as consoles, keypoints and other supplementary modules (output
expansions, input expansions, GSM telephone communicators etc.).
z
RS485 serial bus connector (on the plug-in terminal board).
Permits the connection of the internal expansion modules connected via serial
bus and mounted inside the control panel casing (SPEED 4 or SPEED 8 STD).
z
TTL port (on the CPU board).
Permits the connection of an external multifunctional interface (PROG32 or
PROG USB) for programming and monitoring by PC.
