5.3.7 LEARNING OF WIRELESS DEVICES
Every wireless device for being recognized by the control panel must be learnt
beforehand.
Viewing of wireless devices associated to the zone selected

A wireless detector, contact or transmitter has already been associated to the
zone selected.

LEARNING
Put the wireless device into the test mode. In the test mode, the device transmits the
proper ID code (serial number and device type code) to the wireless receiver.
According to the kind of wireless device, the test mode is activated by either passing a
magnet by the detector/contact, pressing the TEST button or pulling the pull-switch/
pressing the button. Press the hash key (#
YES ) to start the learning process.
On the display is viewed Learn Waiting and the inscription is blinking.
Upon reception of a correct serial number and device type code, the learning process
is finished and on the display is viewed:

Learn Completed
The wireless device has been learnt correctly and the serial number and the
device type code have been stored in the memory.

Learn Error
The wireless device has not been learnt correctly. The device learnt does not
correspond to the device type programmed (e.g. IrR programmed but contact
learnt).
In case of error, quit by pressing the EXIT key and re-enter the learning menu, then
repeat the entire procedure.
