TELEPHONE CHANNELS
Select the channel to be programmed by clicking on the item
next to the letter identifying the channel (A...H) and enter the
description or by clicking on any other item relating to the
channel:
z
A...H
Description identifying the channel (max. 14 characters).
z
Tel. 1
The first (principal) telephone number is called always first
(max. 15 digits).
z
Tel. 2
The second (reserve) number is called if the first number is
busy or there is no answer to the call (max. 15 digits).
z
Format
The transmission format is 3-digits code (see appendix A).
By default all channels are programmed with the digital
Tecnoalarm format (000 Tecno).
z
ID
The channel ID code is a 2 to 6 digits code permitting to
connect the control panel to different monitoring stations
(pretending ID codes with different length), e.g. one
monitoring station pretends the ID code 1234, whereas a
second one pretends the ID code 223344.
Repeat the operations for every telephone channel to be
configured.
CALLBACK
z
Callback
Description identifying the owners of the callback numbers,
e.g. installer (max. 14 characters)
z
Tel. 1
The first callback number is called always first
(max. 15 digits).
z
Tel. 2
The second callback number is called if the first number is
busy or there is no answer to the call (max. 15 digits).
z
Format
The protocol for callback communications is unchangeable,
i.e. digital Tecnoalarm format (00 Tecnoalarm).
z
Disable redirection
The redirection of callback permits the execution of return
calls to a telephone number different from those entered in
the telephone configuration window. Using the
programming and monitoring software it is infact possible
to enable the redirection of callback and program a
callback number in the software configuration (icon with PC
and the 3 blue keys).
This function is disabled if the item
Disable redirection
is
checked.
WARNING
It is compulsory to program the channel ID code.
All the channels have all the same priority. The alarms are served in order of arrival starting with
channel A.
The only exception to the rule is the hold-up alarm. If a hold-up alarm is released while the control
panel is making the alarm calls for another alarm, the active call is interrupted and the hold-up alarm
is transmitted immediately. Once finished the hold-up alarm call cycle, the transmission of the
previous alarm is restarted.
