z
Internal (walk through) zone
The zone is a mixed zone that is enabled upon arming of the program it is
included in. It is a direct zone that becomes delayed if another delayed zone is
put into prealarm (entry time) or during the exit time.
This zone type is useful if there is a delayed zone in the range of the detector
(e.g. entry/exit path of the appartment).
z
Key zone
The zone permits arming or disarming of the program it is included in. It is usually
connected to an external key or pushbutton. Its functioning must be set as either
on-off or pulse (see
Options
).
z
Tamper zone
The zone is always enabled (even if the contro panel is disarmed). It behaves as
the ZT input on the terminal board. It releases a zone tamper alarm.
Commands available
+
EXIT
to confirm the selection and quit
5.3.4 DEFINITION OF THE CONTACT TYPE (FOR WIRED ZONES
ONLY)
The contact type is selectable from:
z
BIL (end-of-line resistor)
z
B24 (double end-of-line resistor)
z
NC (normally closed)
z
NO (normally open)
z
ZBUS (zone bus by Tecnoalarm) - relevant for the inputs of the expansion
modules 1 to 32 only, not for the CPU board
z
SBUS (sensor bus by Tecnoalarm) - relevant for the inputs of the expansion
modules 1 to 32 only, not for the CPU board
Commands available
+
EXIT
to confirm the selection and quit
5.3.5 DEFINITION OF THE ZONE FILTER
A zone filter can be associated to every zone in order to obtain the best response
according to the device connected to the input.
The zone filter is selectable from:
z
Contact - 200 milliseconds, 400 milliseconds, 1 second, 2 seconds
Opening of the zone is signalled if the input contact remains open for a period of
time equal or superior to the value programmed.
z
Pulse count - 2, 4, 8, 16 impulses (i.e. openings and closings)
The pulse count filter has a response time of 2 milliseconds.
Opening of the zone is signalled if within 1 minute the control panel counts at
least as many impulses as programmed.
z
Inertia - 12, 24, 36, 48 milliseconds
z
Doppler (RDV) - 03 (sensitive), 05 (medium sensitive), 07 (little sensitive), 10
(hard)
For special doppler detectors with RDV
®
technology only.
z
Wireless (for wireless zones only)
The response time depends on the settings on the wireless detector itself (by
jumper). The detector is reset automatically after approximately 2 seconds.
z
IR barrier (for the connection of peripherals connected and controlled via zone
bus, and in particular the barriers WINBEAM/S and DOORBEAM/S).

WARNING
As far as wireless zones are concerned, the filters contact, pulse count, inertia and doppler define
the kind of device associated to the zone. The response time is set on the device itself and is
unchangeable.
