CONTACT TYPE (FOR WIRED ZONE INPUTS ONLY)
NORMALLY CLOSED ZONE (NC)
In stand-by, the normally closed zones have a resistance near
to 0 .
In case of alarm, the resistance exceeds 2000 .
Stand-by
= 0 to 2000
Alarm = > 2000
NORMALLY OPEN ZONE (NA)
In stand-by, the normally open zones have a resistance
superior to 2000 .
In case of alarm, the resistance is near to 0 .
Stand-by
= > 2000
Alarm = 0 to 2000
END-OF-LINE RESISTOR ZONE (BIL)
In stand-by, the end-of-line resistor zones have a rated
resistance of 2700 , but in any case within the range of
2000 to 4000 .
In case of alarm, the resistance is outside this range.
Stand-by
= 2000 to 4000 (rated 2700 )
Alarm = < 2000 or > 4000
DOUBLE END-OF-LINE RESISTOR ZONE (B24)
In stand-by, the double end-of-line resistor zones have a
rated resistance of 2700 .
It is possible to distinguish the kind of alarm according
to the resistance measured.
Stand-by
= 2000 to 4000 (rated 2700
Zone tamper = 0 to 2000 or > 7400
Alarm = 4000 to 7400 rated 5400
Zone tamper alarm is viewed on the display of the console with
indication of the zone violated.
WARNING
Zone tamper alarm is detected by double end-of-line resistor zones only.
WARNING
As far as the logic outputs are concerned, the values quoted refer to the normal status, functioning
logic may however be inverted.
