2G.3 TX240-3 WIRELESS KEY
TX240-3 is a wireless key with 3 function keys transmitting
with rolling code in order to guarantee a high degree of
security.
The transmission frequency is 868MHz.
Every transmission (even if pressing the same function key) is
made with a different code than the previous one so that it is
undecryptable. Every wireless key is unique and can in no way
be duplicated.
During every data transmission beside the serial number a
unique encryption key is transmitted that is registered upon
learning.
Upon keystroke the transmission is started.
If the key is held down after approximately 1.5 seconds the
transmission is automatically interrupted.
2G.3.1 FUNCTIONING KEYS
Every functioning key can be programmed individually and with a different function.
The functions associable to every key are:

Disarming of all the programs associated
z
Arming of a specific program (1 to 32)
z
Disarming of a specific program (1 to 32)
z
Toggle (inversion of the status from deactivated to active or vice versa) of a specific remote control (1 to 16)
z
Activation of a specific remote control (1 to 16)
z
Deactivation of a specific remote control (1 to 16)
If programmed accordingly, the wireless key can also be used for by-pass (see paragraph 5.14).
Default programming is:

Function key 1 Disarming of all the programs associated (programs 1 and 2)
z
Function key 2 Arming of program 1
z
Function key 3 Arming of program 2
HOLD-UP
If the wireless key is programmed accordingly, simultaneous pressing of the function keys 2 and 3 causes the
release of a hold-up alarm and the activation of the relative outputs.
LEARNING
Pressing the function key 1 for at least 10 seconds learning is initiated (see paragraph 5.14).
2G.3.2 SYNCHRONIZATION OF THE CODE
If for any reason whatsoever, the control panel should not recognize the wireless key anymore, it is possible to run a
procedure of synchronization. To initiate synchronization, approach the wireless receiver and press the function
key 1 for at least 10 seconds.
2G.3.3 BATTERY
BATTERY CHARGE INDICATION
In normal operating conditions, the led on the wireless key is lit during the entire data transmission. In case of low
battery, the led is lit for only 100 milliseconds signaling the necessity of replacement. The transmission is however
completed normally.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Losen the screw on the rear of the wireless and seperate the plastic shells with care
z
Remove the battery from the its holder
z
Press one of the function keys for at least 5 seconds
z
Insert the new battery
z
Close the plastic shells again and pull the screw tight
